The latest adventure in cider piquettes, aka ciderkins, brings together the second pressing of egremont russet apples, spontaneously fermented, then dry hopped with Chinook hops grown on the farm and bottling with a little sugar and organic blackcurrant juice, to induce not only a beautiful colour but a second fermentation in the bottle. Glorious hazy, watermelon pink with vibrant sparkle, the hops and blackcurrant leaf come out to play on the nose. On the palate it’s super fresh, tangily lactic with rhubarb, grapefruit, cranberry, blackcurrant and apple flavours.
