Aged for 8 years in French oak casks further for two years in pine casks in order to temper the woody influence, this version christened ‘Heritage’ dazzles immediately with its honeyed, exotic character. The sugar cane gradually gains the upper hand before introducing heady, summery tones. Embracing its contrasts and contradictions, it sways between the freshness of the distillate (the sugar cane juice) and its succulent balsamic notes.
