Tarquin’s Cornish Pastis is the first ever, and so far only, Pastis to be created in the UK. A contemporary interpretation of the classic French anise spirit.
Distilled in the same way as Tarquin’s Cornish Dry Gin, Turkish green aniseed and sweet fennel as well as Chinese star anise give the spirit its signature flavour. Aromas of citrus are derived from fresh orange, lemon and grapefruit zest. Angelica, orris, cardamom, juniper and cinnamon add complexity and a greater depth of flavour. Gorse flowers are foraged from the nearby Cornish clifftops. Finally, a touch of liquorice root gives the spirit its colour.
